Blended and Online Education

HTML - CSS - Flash - Application - Animation - Design.

Blended and online education is a new Masters level course running at Napier University. They required an advertisement website to promote the course to prospective students which showed the unique approach that Napier takes to its teaching. It required a striking banner animation in the form of a scrolling panorama as well as an interactive application which can be found on the "Why Study Here?" link.

Female Independent

Female Independent are an independent mortgage advice service and they requested a snappy, stylish site that reflected their no nonsense approach to help and advice. They already had a colour scheme relating to their logo so they site was based around this. It demonstrates a keyword optimised, standards compliant site which offers big results from minimum on-line real estate.

This is a site created for Napier University based on a paper publication used for staff development. The aim was to create a searchable and accessible information store that staff could dip in and out of. The look was kept nice and simple and the main effort went into information architecture to ensure that all data was easily accessible and well organised.

Mobile Aqua Valet

The owner of this small car valet company wanted a simple on-line prescence that basically acted as an on-line flyer for his business. This required a good level of search engine optimisation so that his 'flyer' was seen, as well as a small number of highly informative pages to give viewers all the information quickly and efficiently.

Simplify Golf.

E-commerce. MySQL Database. PHP. CSS. Design.

This site was requested by a Golf Professional so that he could distribute coaching material via the web. He wanted a full membership system so that users could subscribe to view the material and it will include video streaming at a later date. This site was programmed in PHP and utilised an SQL database for the membership functions. It is a work in progress; we are continuing work on the membership system and the e-commerce side which will collaborate with an on-line payment portal.

Reid Gallery.

E-commerce. CSS. Design. Accessibility. Usability.

Matt Reid, an Ayrshire artist, comissioned us to produce a website to sell his art. He set the colour scheme only, and requested that the site be very simple, slick and understated so as not to detract from the art he was showcasing. His customers would be from a very wide demographic and so it must have the usability and accessibility to allow all to access it with ease. The site produced was wholly designed in CSS and offers an accessible, web standards compliant interface to accomplish this. Matt has yet to populate this site and put it on his web space.

Clowning Around.

Clowning Around was a new company that had started up in Dumfries to hire out inflatables for childrens parties and local events. They requested a simple, low-cost website that reflected their fun, party image and had a list of their products and prices. This was created around 2 years ago and the coding is, quite frankly, very out of date. I have retained it here though to show the type of fun, cartoony designs that we are capable of implementing. This may be redone quite soon in CSS to increase it's accessibility and search engine optimisation.
